EN 10204 2.2 Certificate..

Dear Experts,

Can you please throw me an Idea whether we need to match the Quantity for EN10204 2,2 Certificates. 

Supposedly consider a lot of around 30 nos of a pressure part where customer has requested for EN 10204 2.2 Certification for internals. Whether I am supposed to submit him internals Test certificate to match this 30 nos or a sample TC is sufficient enough.

What is the procedure to raise this issue to EN body?

Manufacturer's compliance statement certificate against the po requirements and specification requirements is considered enough for EN 10204-2.2. Certificate statement will cover the qty and any other requirements.

If Tc and further test details requested can be considered further assurance of the product quality and manufacturers can demand additional charges against those quality tests if initial po order and terms requirement was only EN10204- 2.2.

Normally all pressure parts are considered 3.1 by majority of the customers.

The certificate must match the requirement of a batch with Qty or any other means to correlate. It cannot be any certificate unrelated to the actual product/s.

By the way we dont like to throw at you. We will politely give you. ( pun intended)

Thanks for your reply. Also regret for the language I used.

But i would like to get clarified a point that EN 10204 2.2 document content is "Statement of compliance with the order, with indication of results of nonspecific inspection"

I take the statement in this way.The \manufacturer will comply to the order requirement, but the results need not match with the items actually produced.(non- specific inspection). If it is non specific then why i need to match the qty with the batch lot.
