ASME B31.3 minimum distance between two erlds

Dear Experts

I'm involved on an activity of piping welding installation, and I didn't find on B31.3 any requirement of minimum distance between 2 welds.

do you have any info? also according ISO or other standard based on your experience

With regards to Long seam you will get from ASME Sec VIII UW-9, But silent for Circ Seam However, Good Engineering Practices and One of client specification

Client specification Min. 50 mm Distance have to be maintained

it should be 4t or 100mm whichever is greater valve  is  standard practice .Some international and client standard also define this parameter. This should be mentioned in your client specification , will vary depends on clients and service
