skipping of PWHT (SR) and Hydrotest

Hello everyone,

If the weld performed is sound on the 32 mm thik material (SS and CS) and preheated as per code, then can i skip the PWHT and Hydrotest??

Dear friend,

If joint welding of SS+ CS with 32mm thickness - as per ASME sec VIII div 1 for p no :1 PWHT is mandatory.

> if you preheated the CS side as per code? if the HAZ hardness on CS plate is within the base metal range, you can avoid PWHT process if end customer is accepting  this condition

Please vist your account in Api.org in section individual certification ICP.  Log in with user id and password. Any trouble write to api for new password or login details. 

After 6 years may be online quiz will be required and it may be clearly defined there when you log in.

Complete the quiz and complete all other requirements stipulated and then you will reach to final payment section.
