FILLET WELDING PROCEDURE ACCORDING TO API 1104

Dear Members,

We qualify our WPS on Single V Butt joint design, my concern is that can we use this WPS for fillet welding too.

As per API 1104 SECTION 5.7, 5.8 describing about Fillet weld welding requirement.

yes, A major change in joint design constitutes an essential variable. (although it's  vague definition in API 1104, it considers all set in/set on etc. are fillet welds)
