SS 310 TO SS 316 & SS316 TO SS304 Welding joint qualification & filler wire

Dear Expert,

We have PQR base metal SS304 TO SS304 & filler wire ER 308L 

I have the following question 

1)Can we weld SS310 TO SS316 with the above pqr and what will be the filler for the same?

2)Can we weld SS316 TO SS304 with the above pqr and what will be the filler for the same?

PQR Base metal SS304 (P8, Gr.1) TO SS304 (P8, Gr.1) & filler wire ER 308L (F No.6, A No.8)

ANS. 1) Yes you weld SS310  (P8, Gr.2) TO SS316  (P8, Gr.1) with the above PQR, Filler you have two options: ER310 or ER309.

ANS. 2) Yes you weld SS316  (P8, Gr.1) TO SS304  (P8, Gr.1) with the above PQR, Filler you have two options: ER308L or ER316L.

{Note: Your minimum design metal temperature shall not be colder than –155°F (–104°C)}

No, you have to requalify the PQR as A No. Change from 8 to 9. 

Filler: SS310

2)Can we weld SS316 TO SS304 with the above pqr and what will be the filler for the same?

Yes, if Impact is not applicable.
