SS 310 to SS 316L - GTAW Welding query

[PARAI Reaction Channel]

Dear Welding Experts,

To weld SS 310 to SS 316L material, can I use GTAW SFA 5.9, AWS Class ER310 ?

Or which AWS class will be suitable to weld this dissimilar materials ?

Please advise with valuable reasons as per metallurgy.

310 is fully Austenitic structure,  u may land into fissuring.  u may go with 316l or 309MoL
