Fwd: Joint configuration in P91-reg

Dear experts,

                                        This is to inform u that we are manufacturer of Boiler components in India. In which one item called Flow nozzle made of P91 and SS316L as shown sketch attached.

your valuable comments are required on the following

1. Is this joint details acceptable for construction.

2.we had made 2 procedures.

   A). P91 was buttered with ER NiCr3 and PWHT

         After PWHT, these Buttered piece was joined with SS316 with Filler wire ERNiCr3.

     B) P91 and SS316 was directly welded with ERNiCr3 for Root and Hot pass

         Then balance welding was done by E9018-B9 and PWHT.

 In this we have faced with problem in procedure A) (Lack of fusion) and failed in service

your inputs are highly appreciated and thanks for ur cooperation.
