Procedure need for reinforcing pad

Dear all

         I have one Doubt regarding the reinforcement pad which is designed by B31.3. I get all the clearances from the design team. But I just wonder if the pad will be cut by two pieces lateral to run pipe and merged on the location. 

          My Client told me that the case is code wise ok. 

          So now I have to Submit my WMS for that work.

          In B31.3 there is nothing about it. So please generals if you have any about that ... Please share with me.

       ASME B31.3 is not mentioned anywhere. When I have to submit my Work Method Statement it should be mentioned through Proper Codes and Standards.

       So, I Just Want to know the standard procedure where they mention RF Pad can be cut by Two Pieces.
