WPS Query

Dear Sir,

Material specifications for SA 302( P number=3 & Group number 3) & SA 508 (P number=3,Group number =3 & Impact value is also required) has been given in WPS.Its PQR is made from material 1 SA 302 (P=3,Group number=3) to material 2 (P =3,Group=3) impact test also given in PQR.

In this case as per ASME SECTION IX 403.5

Is WPS relevant from PQR.Please advise on this issue.

Did the engineer that audited the WPS/PQR reference QW-403.5? I did not notice any reference per ASME IX anywhere in his email. Perhaps you can upload the WPS/PQR in question, so that we can see exactly what is going on.
