Dear Experts,

I hope this email finds you well. I'm reaching out for advice on a current project where we're performing flux core welding. We need to qualify our welders and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

As a QC Level 1, I'm wondering if I'm qualified to:

1. Evaluate and qualify welders?

2. Write Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)?

3. Develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)?

4. Conduct Welder Qualification Tests (WQT)?

Specifically, we're working with flux core welding, and I'd appreciate guidance on the requirements and best practices for welder qualification and documentation.

Could you please provide advice or point me in the direction of relevant resources?

To my knowledge 

If you are qualified as welding coordinating personal under ISO 14731 namely International welding engineer / technologist / specialist then you can carry out  the questions 1 to 4 as mentioned in your email and for which code of construction to fabricate and weld the component and certify welders . 

The WPS / PQR / WPQR you need to follow the formats form of the code you design and follow for fabrication and welding pl
