Greetings Experts,
I would like to bring your attention to and clarification about the below-mentioned materials required for welding in the structural platform for Instrument support. In which required earthing clit/plate (6mm THK X 50mm H X 65mm W SS316)  to be welded with pipe (API 5L Gr B Thk- 5.54 MM) and channel (PFC 100x50x10mm THK). ASTM A 572 GR 50).
Could you please confirm that the mentioned piping WPS can be used for above mentioned ?

Thank you for your response and suggestion.

Yes, the WPS is okay for CS to SS fillet welding (P1 to P8) using ER309L, preferably by GTAW only since the thickness is less.

Dear Akhilesh ji,

WPS is OK but from next time, Do always mention the deposited weld metal thickness for each process.
Here, Fillet must be of atleast 6 mm (Plate is 6mm and Pipe is 5.54 mm) so Use GTAW only.

Thanks
