RT of cast body of Ball Valve

Dear All,

Is ther any size restriction to carry out RT of cast body for Ball Valve (A 216 WCB).

ASME B 16.34 does not mention size limitation for RT of Valve Body. 

​My vendor says that for 2" Ball Valve of A 216 WCB, RT is not required.

Kindly suggest.​

RT should be based on the customer requirements / ensure that the soundness of castings. Verification of your methoding process.

There is no size restriction for body RT, refer your project Client approved valve material specification/valve data sheet for exact RT requirement.
