Good day.

One interviewer asked.

First question,

There is Two pipe Joint ready to inspection. one is 48 inch dia pipe with flange, other one is 8 inch pipe dia pipe with flange. both are same carbon steel. so what is the role of qc inspector for inspection ?

Second question,

There is Two pipe Joint ready to inspection. one is 48 inch dia static equipment (like column or vessels)  with flange, other one is 8 inch pipe dia static equipment (like column ,or vessels) with flange. both are same carbon steel. so what is the role of qc inspector for inspection ?

I agree with Kartik, yes, visual inspection is the basic of all the inspection. After that we can go for any other types if inspection.
