Dear All,
A welding procedure is qualified with multiple PQRs as below
  1. 3.05mm
  2. 4.19mm
  3. 6.0mm
  4. 25.0mm
With impact requirement.
Now what is the thickness range qualified.

Thanks and regards,
Venkatramulu CH

Hi dear,

Hence you have mentioned that your code of construction is b31.3 , then the base metal qualified range becomes T/2  to T+6 mm.  This is applicable for each PQR thickness.  If there is a gap in the spectrum, then new PQRs need to be qualified to fill out the gap.

Hope this helps,

Regards,
