Dear All,

Code: ASME SEC VIII-1

Post forming Heat Treatment of Dish...

MOC: SS316L

Design Temp 85°C

Fibre Elongation: 3.6%

UHA-44 table does not show values of Fibre elongation..

Is PFHT required for this dish.

Kindly advise

PFHT is not mandatory as per code.
Some client specify PFHT as solution annealing if hardness after forming is more than 22 HRC

What if Fibre elongation exceed 20% (for SS316L Dish), PFHT required or not; please provide Code reference.
