Can you advise how calculate RT SAFE DISTANCE with and without collimator.

HI Sakhileshmon,

Hope you are using the Ir 192 isotope and the formula for calculating the safe distance is noted below. 

The radiation permissible level may be various for different organizations and i here by taken the most approved level as 7.5 µSv/Hr.

BD (Without collimator) in meters = square root ( Curie*4.8*1000 / 7.5)

The Barrier distance with collimator can be calculated based on the thickness and material  of the collimator,however the barrier distance with collimator is not advisable as the focal side of the collimator is open and required the  BD distance without collimator.

HELLO IS VERY EASY, FOR EACH A METER THE ENERGY REDUCE 50%, CALCULATED UNTIL GET THE LEVEL THAT YOU NEED.
