Dear sir,

I have PQR for P1 G1 to P1 G2 as per Impact test requirement  G no. is supplementary essential variable.
My question is can I made P1 G1 to P1 G1 & P1 G2 to P1 G2 wps using same PQR without change in other essential & supplementary variable.

Yes, you can use the same PQR for individual combination. However be sure to perform all the mechanical test including charpies on both base metal side P1 G1 and P1 G2.

Yes, you can make different WPS(s) within the range(s) qualified as per already established PQR if the impact test is not applicable.

When impact test is applicable, all the supplimentary variables will become essential variable and you will have limited provisions to make different WPSs.

Hope, your question is answered.

Yes, you may.

See QW-403.5(c) which reads in part “when base metals of two different P-Number Group Number combinations are qualified using a single test coupon, that coupon qualifies the welding of those two P-Number Group Numbers to themselves as well as to each other using the variables qualified.”

Also, as an example see Interpretation IX-15-15:
