There are only small formal differences. EN 287-1, was a pure European norm and has been withdrawn, because it was changed to an international standard (ISO).

Further EN 287.1 was harmonized to the old Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), 97/23/EC where ISO 9606-1 is harmonized to the new PED, 2014/68/EU.

Kind regards

Dear Sir
Kindly read first 3 pages of EN ISO 9606-1. There it is clearly written that  9606-1 superseded the 287-1 although document prepared according to 287-1 is still valid if requirement of 9606-1 comply.
Thanks
