Dear Experts,

We have a welded joint: stainless steel type 6Mo UNS S31254 using filler metal ERNiCrMo-3. What would be the chemical requirements criteria ( Cr, Ni, Mo)  be for PMI on this joint? Any standard/ code for reference?

While welding dissimilar materials, usually lower grade properties shall be acceptable and its a normal industrial practice.

For more information, pease refer your welding specifications of.your project.
