can i have to know that maximam permissable hardness value for cast matrial G34CrMo4 , please provide if have any code reference for back up

Std BS EN 10293 does not require hardness, any specific reason for this requirement?

This material is NOT for code use, and only limited weldable.

Application shall be used only after proper testing of the welding procedure. (preheating 300-350 degrees centigrade, slow cooling) will offer you 400-500 HV,

PWHT at 600 degrees centigrade (if lower than the tempering temperature) will lower it to 300 - 350 HV

the supplier did some weld repair on the casting after tempering thatsway am seeking advice
