Requalification is required for changing of process

Dear all,

Please help me for following situation:

Approved WPS - GTAW+SMAW (Qualified for pipe) - Material -P11 (SA 335) , Thk - 19mm  PWHT - Req.

1. Now can revise above said process for only SMAW without re-qualification with back gouging for plates. ( Butt  Welds)

2. And also fillet welds same thing can do.

yes with baking.
applicable fillet weld also.

yes, you can rewrite & make another WPS without re-qualification. only essential parameters should not change.

With or without backing as it is not essential variable for wps
