ALLOY 825 IMPACT TEST REQUIREMENT AS PER ASME B31.3

Experts,

Please confirm that the weld metal impact test is required for solid alloy 825 pipe PQR using ENiCrMo-3 filler wire/electrode as per ASME B31.3 (Table 323.2.2 A-6).

Yes if you use a different composition welding consumable compared to Base material

First decide on the  Test temperature (MDMT). Test value will be based on Base material values.
