Good day,

could you please advise can we do the MPI wet method with permanent magnets (Horse shoe) for 1.5 inch pipe.

if can please provide me the references.

NO...due to XX thick material will absorb limited flux density of magnetic and create poor sensitivity. Use AC/DC stilt magnet at 75mm max distance between poles, wet method oil based medium continuous technique

Your concern on reliability and sensitivity of results is very important. What is the minimum thickness/diameter for which permanent magnet can provide reliable with reasonable sensitivity results?
