qualify WPS AWS D1.1

Dear all experts, please help me,

if I qualify WPS AWS D1.1 as picture :

A & B are the test piece cut from the spiral pipe, all are SAW process.example: t=12mm, OD = 800mm, 

my question is: according to table 4.2 AWS D1.1, the test piece B should be qualified for steel plate welding process,and range qualify will be 3mm to 2T, is it right?

also,according to AWS D1.1, the test piece A ( joint two pipes) is qualify for pipe and tubing, and range qualified is T/2 to 2T, is it right?
