Design code – ASME B31.3, Welding Code- ASME BPVC SEC IX

Material to be used used during Fabrication - SA 516 Gr 70

Production Thickness range-8 mm(Minimum)- 20mm(Maximum)

PWHT – Nil

MDMT-= -29 Deg Cel.

Kindly give your valuable suggestions for applicability of PQR impact requirement for above details.

In drawing design data MDMT and impact test requirements must be mentioned. Based on that PQR need to qualify.

Impact test is suplimentry requirement, so we have check client specification also. As per code you'll get exemption, but in client specification having impact required, you have to follow.
