Hi,
If your valves are capable of holding the test pressure, no need to remove from the pipeline,
Also one should not take advantage of the valves saying leakage at spindle / pinions / gaskets / etc.
Further valves should not get damaged during / after testing, as it has to be in useful condition after testing also.
Ensure that the valves should not partition / separate / isolate the line during testing or pressurization time, especially check valves / NRV should allow the flow during pressurization time (means pressure pump should be on the upstream of the NRV) and also ensure to place pressure gauges at the downstream of the NRV to ensure that the line is fully pressurised
