Welder's Productivity Sought

Dear Members,

I am from estimations dept. wherein I am finding it difficult to estimate piping jobs, can anyone let me know about welders productivity for CS,SS, Alloyed materials, as I understand that to achieve it we have to make test coupons for various sizes, various thickness for various material grades along with different processes, different weld joints etc which is not possible for me hence if any one can guide me on this (Theoretical or Thumb rule kind of logic)  then i shall highly appreciate.
