Shall we used E6010 electrode for root for 31.3 process piping?
Is there restriction specifies in B31.3?

You can use. High welders required as to control root penetration. Chances of more burn through

Dear Sir,

For larger bore E6010 shall be used as it gives deep penetrationbecause of it is shielded with cellulose flux. There is no restriction in B31.3 for using E6010.

Thanking You.
