All IS
2062 grades are classified as P1 Gr1 materials. For code stand point
IS 2062 could be a replacement for SA 516/ Gr60 steel( also P1 Gr1 material).
However it would be advisable to verify the the additional information for IS
2062 Gr B, such as the :
API Bulletin 939E, 2013, has some word of
caution for methanol service:-

he
published literature and service experience with
methanol is much more extensive and has shown for some time shows that
methanol is a known SCC agent for steel. Water content, various impurities, temperature,
and metallurgical condition of the steel determine methanol
SCC susceptibility. You may know very well that residual stress/ excessive
hardness could trigger SCC.
