Normally you order Flanges/Pipes/Fittings from the Manufacturer / Stockist with the requirement of EN 10204  3.1/3.2 certified by the manufacturer / TPI who reviews the Normalization chart/graph  in the MDR ( Manufacturer Data Report) and only a statement about Heat Treatment appears in the MTC (as per previous mail)

Thanks & Regards

Hi,
Normally no need heat treatment graph/Chart with MTC. MTC shall specify the Actual Normalizing Temperature and holding time. If your project specification or customer needs then you have to specify in your purchase order to the mill and then they will provide you chart with MTC.

Thanks& Regards,

Hi,

When Flange is written in "TDC" or "Ordering information" as NORMALIZED means, the manufacturer has to follow the process stated in ASME SEC II part A , material specification subsequently.

If the flanges are procured as "Normalized" condition, then the same shall be reflected to the MTC. This will be further evaluated and ensured by the material inspector and further duly endorsed by TPIA representatives.

You may refer to material specification "SA-105" section, 5.2 Heat treatment, when required by 5.1 shall be
annealing, normalizing, or normalizing and tempering or quenching and tempering in accordance with Specification
A 961. and below shown from specification A961.
