Dear members,

I woluld like to ask a favor from you about the inspection requiremnts for spherical tank iam new for this job i dont have an idea what is the requiremnts Prior to accept the fit up ang after welding.

since you are new you have to start studding the applicable construction Code or standard.
If you have any questions on the Code or standard, then you may address the forum.
The forum can not replace Codes and Standards

At first, You must identify the construction code of the equipment and then review it.

 

There you´ll have all inspection, examination and testing requirements for the tank

Absolutely correct. This forum will help clarify or have a discussion on interpretation of codes/standards. Members must go thro the codes and raise points for discussion, or a practical problem and possible solutions etc

Hi .
If is atmosféric tank is api 650 or 620 for fabrication for inspection is api 653 if is pressure tank is asme section 8 división 1 inspection is NB 23 or api 510 .
