Colour Band for Stainless steel pipes

Dear All,
Please guide me, for applying COLOUR BAND( Light Green ) on bare stainless steel pipes with Hempadur Mastic 45881, Primer is required or we can apply directly with 45881 on stainless steel pipes.
Note: Stainless stell pipes are not painted fully.Colour Band is only 4'' size.
