Midnight Blaze Ignited by Space Heater | Hellfire Heroes S1
A raging springtime blizzard and 20 centimeters of snow has Slave Lake
firefighters working overtime; a pickup truck plows into the rear of a
semi-trailer, a mobile home fire threatens to engulf a trailer park,
and a space heater sparks a late night structure inferno. As snow
turns to torrential rains, downed high-power lines, flooded streets
and swamped cars keep the desperate calls for help coming in. Foul
weather has the Yellowhead County firefighters on the run, with two
tractor-trailer rollovers, an injured driver, and a hazardous
frac-sand spill. On Slave Lake, a canoe capsizes and two young men go
missing. The RCMP calls in the Slave Lake Firefighter’s Search and
Rescue team, and all-night search of dark waters ends in tragedy. When
the rains clear, five massive brush fires break out, threatening the
home of Deputy Chief Alex Pavcek. The Forestry Service calls in air
support to help save the property and prevent the onset of a
devastating wildfire, and Chief Coutts and his entire department of
firefighters battle the blaze, until a startling discovery ends the
fight.
