12 Month-ending Provisional Number and Percent Change of Drug Overdose Deaths
look at figure 1A - https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/drug-overdose-data.htm
this graph shows the annual total for each previous 12 month period -
correct me if I am wrong - its a 'look back' graph - its not a monthly
total graph - but its similar
obviously the trend is upward since 2015
iirc the upward trend started under Obama in 2010 ish and continued
thru trump and biden - you can see a slight dip for covid in 2020 2021
