- fire danger plan - 5 day vs 7 day - 10% 70% etc
draw down levels - cant quite figure this all out yet
apparently "7 day staffing" actually means that all 'days off' are
cancelled for any unit that is typically just staffed 5 days per week
- its a federal wildfire thing - none of the structural FDs do this
afaik
the feds do this alot - for example - a water tender might have 2
people assigned for the suimmer - they will work 5 day straight - and
then the unit goes out of service for 2 days - if there is a fire -
then some other water tender from 100 miles away is sent
