USFWS has 4 or 5 types of sites - "Each unit of the Refuge System —
whether it is a wildlife refuge, a marine national monument, a
conservation area or a waterfowl production area — is established to
serve a statutory purpose that targets the conservation of native
species dependent on its lands and water. All activities on those
acres are reviewed for compatibility with this statutory purpose." -
per
https://www.fws.gov/carp/program/national-wildlife-refuge-system
we also know that some refuges are combined into 'complexes'

unknown if any of the sites have any of their own wildfire fighting
equipment - whether it be a type 6 engine or an atv with a slipon tank
- none of these sites are mentioned on WildWeb afaik
