civilian volunteers have the best list of the missing at this time -
they are using Facebook and a Google spreadsheet
we dont know of any community in the usa that maintains a list of all
residents although many do maintain lists of registered voters - and
the US Census Bureau should have lists of residents - but that is held
in secret for 40 years
114 confirmed dead as of 832pm edt aug 19 2023 or aug 16 1 am edt
