all scene calls are dispatched by the state medevac center

all inter facility transports are dispatched by the respective medevac systems

this is a total merger of government and private medical evacuation
hospitals - but it is bifurcated on the dispatch end

I dont think that there is any state that has just 1 medevac dispatch
center that provides statewide coverage for all medevac helios -
except maybe Maine - but Maine only has 1 medevac service and they
cover the entire state - Vermont is similar but I suspect that some VT
areas have coverage by a 2nd medevac dispatch center - such as the
western part of VT that is covered by medevacs out of NY - New
Hampshire may be covered by just 1 medevac dispatch center in its
entirety

RI is covered by helos from CT and MA
CT is covered by helios from CT and MA and ?NY?
NY is covered by helios from NY + PA + ?NJ? + ?Westfield Mass?



helios - why does google always change HELO to HELIOS? in the past
