Emergency managers in Florida’s Lee County held off on telling people
to flee the area of Fort Myers and Cape Coral, where Hurricane Ian hit
hardest.

should mention that on their projection map - they did in the text

local officials will probably say that initial tracks from NHC aimed
at Tallahassee and then Tampa
