Western Mass - info heard via eDispatches - today and yesterday
1800 tone tests - Plainfield FD pager test - by Northampton Control -
multi FDs tested at same time - Plainfield + Cummington + Worthington
+ Chesterfield + Goshen + (? Windsor ? Fire and EMS) - Saturday
wasnt Windsor dispatched by Dalton in the past ?
1800 tones tests - more tone tests by Northampton Control - Hatfield
FD pager test - test for "Hatfield Fire EMS" and "Westhampton Fire
EMS" - also - another tone set to test another FD (maybe Tolland FD) -
Saturday
wasnt Tolland dispatched by Berkshire County in the past?
1819 tone test - Amherst FD - Box Alarm test and SpecTeam test - per
readout at eDispatches website - Saturday night
Chester FD was paged at 1311 + 1315 + 1319 to assist State Police with
a lost hiker on Fisk Road - apparently they do "2nd tone" and "3rd
tone" at 4 minute intervals - Saturday
1800 hours - "Southwick Fire Dispatch" tested EMT 57 and said "your
radio shows up as Medic 77 Dave Bridges" - Saturday
1702 hours - Southwick Tower was paged non emergency to assist the
West Springfield ACO (animal control officer) at Island Pond - maybe
they had an animal stuck in a tree - Saturday
1627 hours - Williamstown FD was paged out to an alarm - this shows up
as "WTownFD-All" at eDispatches - Saturday
1811 hours - page for 'Stamford Fire' - they were paged by "North
Adams Dispatch" to an EMS call with "Northern Berkshire EMS" -
"negative respiratory precautions" - "Unit 1" was heard acknowledging
the call loud and clear - not sure what actual freq that would have
been - might have been on the N Berk EMS channel since 'Unit 1' is the
N Berk EMS first out ambulance iirc - note - Stamford is in Vermont -
Saturday
