I had a vitamin D test done in Nov 2020
Mt Auburn Hospital billed my insurance $182 for the test
my insurance paid $29
I paid $0
I asked my primary care doctor to order the test and he obliged ... he
was already writing an order for a battery of blood tests, so we just
piggy backed onto that
bottom line .. does not seem to be a hugely expensive test ... online
prices seem to run from $50 to $120
