18 bed ER - level 4 trauma center - MDs work 12 hour shifts - 1 per
shift - they also have 1 AHP for 10 hours per day
they also have a rfp for hospital doctor and icu doctor
what kind of weird ass bs is it that the doctors are not hospital employees
this hospital also runs the county ambulance service with approx 20
fulltime staff and 20 part time staff
why would ambulance service be 50 percent part time staff ? maybe for
surges or MCIs they could use oncall part timers - but whats with all
the part timers in general ?
