How Are We Different from Other Urgent Care Centers?

Urgent care centers treat injuries or illnesses that need immediate
attention, but are not serious enough to require an emergency room
visit. However, Beth Israel Lahey Health Urgent Care Centers offer a
high level of expertise and services not usually seen in most urgent
care settings:

All of our physicians are board certified in emergency medicine and
can provide more complex pediatric and adult care.
We have access to advanced diagnostic tools, such as CT scanning, not
available at many traditional urgent centers.
For many patients, we also have electronic access to their medical
records, which allows us to make well-informed treatment decisions.
