my internet is down - I decide to check my updates status for laughs -
windows 11 tells me that I am up to date immediately - in fact it
changed its time from 1 am to 8 am - how exactly did it determine that
I was up to date without an Internet connection?
and what is this connection that shows in the wifi popup from "hidden
network" that connects automatically? - I think I found some mention
of that somewhere on the Internet - cant remember what the story is

just checked updates again - got a Frame Network or whatever update -
was quick - did not require a restart - ?????????
