I think that County FD had 4 stations - and maybe the other VFDs had 1
station each - so now it will be 1 FD with 7 stations - all volunteers
but maybe they have 1 or 2 paid chiefs
this is in the mountains of western North Carolina
they might be following the lead of Georgia which seems to have more
and more county FDs
