The department upgraded its ambulance service to provide ALS in
February 2017. It currently staffs one ALS ambulance with paramedics.
Due to recent funding approval, the department is actively recruiting
personnel to staff a second full-time ALS ambulance to improve
coverage and response times.
(not sure how recent that info is - dont think they have a 2nd als
ambo rolling yet - but they might -10/30/2025 is the date on the
watertown fd hq als drug registration - just 2 month ago
