On July 14, 2025, at 10:15 PM, members of the Sheridan Area Search and
Rescue responded to a report of a lost hiker in the vicinity of
She-Bear Mountain. The team utilized GPS technology, personal radio
communications, municipal communication systems, and emergency
satellite communications via a cell phone to coordinate the rescue
effort.
