something going on with fire boxes in arlington mass

fire box was just received from stratton school but no alarm system
had activated in the building - this has happened a couple of times
over the last couple of months

week or two ago the fire alarm system activated at 37 drake rd but the
fire box failed

'town electrician' is apparently responsible for the alarm system at the schools

aha mtnce is responsible for mentce at aha properties

there was a fire alarm system activation at 4 winslow recently - the
fire box worked fine then - as soon as horns started to honk in the
bld - the box was immediately heard beeping over the Arlington FD
radio channel (460.60) - which is the way this is all supposed to work

arlington mass fire boxes have been on 72 mhz for approx the last 20
years - maybe that is being updated in 2025 - iirc there is a mention
in the 2024 annual town report
