per 'the lookout' last night on yt
doge cuts to usfs might have huge consequences this year - too early
to tell right now
on the plus side - there have been so many wildfires on the klamath
natl forest in calif over the last 20 years that they have a good
chance of surviving no matter what the weather does - the buildings
might all burn up - but the forests / trees will survive
bottom line - the goal is not to kill any firefighters - and not to
kill any civilians
