most fireground comms were on ch2 - 482.2375 R - everyone was on there
- somerville medford revere boston chelsea - everyone at the fire was
on there
callsigns were - Somerville Ladder 2 - Engine 9 backstep - engine 9
hydrant - Engine 100 - Revere Eng 4 driver - etc - those are not 100%
accurate - need to go back and listen to the tape
Engine 100 = the pump operator on chelsea engine 1 apparently
incident command told everyone to shut down their lines - then ic told
dispatcher to make announcement - IC then sounded a loud high/low
signal and repeated the message - she was the only female voice heard
on the channel - which probably is very useful for differentiating
between field units and dispatcher
